Generally speaking, if possible, about two liters per day will assure proper hydration, detoxification and healthy, high PH levels.

For maximum effectiveness and based on daily usage, our external, first-stage filter should be changed every six months. The internal, second-stage filter can be changed once a year.

Correct, there is no holding tank where water is stored and susceptible to bacteria. The Aura H2-Ion and H2-0 are continuous flow systems where ordinary tap water passes through a powerful, two-stage filtration system.
